Suggested Mobile Apps

Here is a list of suggested mobile apps that can load and display the “GPX” routes and waypoints available for each hike on the site.

When choosing a map to load and display, Openstreetmap (OSM) maps are highly recommended because most, if not all, the hiking trails in the Ministik are displayed in Openstreetmap maps. This is an important safety feature in a wild area like the Ministik where it can be all too easy to lose the trail and get lost.

All of the options listed below:

  • have free versions and most have paid versions with added features
  • have both Android and iOS versions, and
  • can be used in offline mode, that is, without a cell signal.

This site has no affiliation with the developers of any of apps listed here. Apps are listed in alphabetical order.
